We are seeking a Test Engineer to develop and execute test procedures ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of electronic components. The role involves working closely with engineering and quality teams to validate performance, detect issues early, and contribute to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement test plans, procedures, and fixtures for electronic components.
Perform functional, electrical, and physical testing in line with industry standards (e.g., AS6171).
Record, analyse, and report test results accurately.
Maintain calibration and proper use of test equipment and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to resolve component issues.Skills & Equipment
Background in electronics or electrical engineering with hands-on experience in testing.
Proficient with multimeters, power supplies, microscopes, X-Ray (2D & 3D), FTIR/Raman spectroscopy, XRF, mechanical decapsulation, acoustic coupling, and acid bath testing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Familiarity with ESD practices and industry standards (AS6081/AS6171) desirable.
Experience with LabVIEW or alternative test software advantageous.
