Job Description

Position: Elite Retail Security Officer 
Location: Coventry 
Pay Rate: £15.50 to £16.25 per hour depending on experience 
Hours: Various 
Shifts: Various between 8.45am to 7.15pm over 7 days 
 
SG / DS SIA licence required. 
 
Please note for this role we can only consider candidates with 2 + years retail experience 
 
Your Time at Work 
As a Security Guard you will be responsible for: 
 
- To provide a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff 
- To carry out the Company Policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and visitors 
- To lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site 
- To observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems 
- To carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible 
- To ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified 
- To understand and implement any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures 
- To assist, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches 
- To ensure that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition 
- To conduct yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring a full uniform is worn and an SIA licence is clearly displayed 
 
It is crucial to have great communication and customer service skills. A lot of admin is digital and paperless, so you'll need to be tech-savvy enough to use our digital devices.

Our perfect Relief Security Guard will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
