We're looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to help shape the next generation of intelligent print finishing systems based in Buckinghamshire . You’ll work hands-on with real hardware, developing embedded C/C++ solutions across a range of microcontrollers, from concept to production.
You'll join a close-knit, multi-disciplinary R&D team – think electronics, mechanics, software, and real-world machines. If you’re curious, methodical, and love seeing your code come to life (literally), this could be your next move.
What you’ll do as an Embedded Software Engineer:
• Write and test embedded software for new and revised products
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines
• Help build smarter, connected systems (IIoT experience is a plus!)
• Take part in design reviews, prototypes, and even customer visits
As a Embedded Software Engineer you will have:
* Minimum degree qualified (BEng/BSc) in an Electrical Engineering or Computer Science subject
* 3+ years in embedded C/C++
* Knowledge of microcontrollers & electronics
* Familiarity with RTOS (like FreeRTOS)
* Bonus: CAN, RS485, Linux, or Web stack skills
