Embedded Software Team Lead - £50k - £60k – Semi remote – Porton Down
Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a rapidly expanding Electronics company based near Porton Down who are now seeking an Embedded Software Team Lead with good experience working on either ARM processors or Embedded Linux applications as well as leading projects
They are seeking an Embedded Software Team Lead who is able to turn their hand to new products quickly and has the ability to work autonomously on new products. Due to the nature of the work this role will be onsite with remote working 1 to 2 days a week in their office near Porton Down.
The company are in a highly lucrative industry. With constant development of new products, so there will be excellent opportunities to see products from Design to Manufacture. This is a mostly hands on role with a requirement to lead the technical development of their products.
Key Skills
* A degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems or similar
* 5+ years commercial Embedded Software experience
* Good knowledge of ARM based processors or Linux Kernel Driver development
* Commercial C++ is highly desirable
* Previous Team Lead or Project Management experience
* Any knowledge of DSP’s is also advantageous but not essential.
