Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available in a very busy family run business for this reason we require an Embroidery Machine Operator who will be dealing with all aspects of the running of the embroidery department at DD Health and Safety Supplies Limited.
You will be required to assist with:
  * Maintenance of equipment, including replacing needles, cleaning and oiling
  * Quality inspection of garments, packing, labelling and bagging items · Selecting thread and position logos to meet specific customer needs
  * Folding and packing garments and maintaining and update both electronic and paper-based systems
  * Keeping workspace neat and tidy
  * Computer Literate
You may be required to perform duties other than those given in the job description. The particular duties and responsibilities attached to the post may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed
Working Week
Mon Tuesday, and Thursday, 9 am till 4 pm
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: off days
Sunday- Closed
Overtime may be required at busy times

  * We have our own on-site embroidery and logo equipment department which gives us the fullest control over the complete customer order.
  * Local delivery service – we are able to provide a service of same day delivery from stock if requested in the Norwich area with a next day service out of the area by Carrier service.
  * Our Company IT equipment is modern and well-maintained with our software package (SAGE) being backed up daily. We also have an emergency total loss recovery package with our insurers in the event that disaster/business interruption takes place.
You will have the following skills:
  * Good IT skills and understanding of Microsoft Office
  * Accurate documentation presentation skills
  * Good communication skills with a good telephone manner and good organisational skills with attention to detail and professional approach to work
  * Ability to follow guidance and instructions and ability to work under pressure and prioritise work
  * Ability to use own initiative and ability to work as part of a team
You will need to be:
  * Well-presented, professional and polite
  * Friendly and helpful in manner
  * Flexible, punctual, reliable , enthusiastic and motivated
  * Adaptable to change and is honest and trustworthy
The Salary for this post will be dependent on experience.
Holiday entitlement 12 days plus bank holiday
