The Role
As a Retail & Employability Tutor, you’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of retail professionals and ensuring learners are work-ready.
You will:

Deliver vocational training in areas such as sales, merchandising, customer service, stock management, and visual merchandising
*
Embed employability skills including communication, professionalism, and workplace behaviours
*
Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate achievements
*
Adapt teaching for diverse learners across classroom, online, and blended environments
*
Collaborate with employers to ensure training meets real industry standards and workplace expectations
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have hands-on retail experience, a passion for developing people, and a focus on employability outcomes.
You will also have:

A recognised teaching or training qualification, or willingness to achieve one (PTLLS, AET, Cert Ed, PGCE, or equivalent)
*
Strong communication, coaching, and motivational skills
*
Ability to adapt delivery to meet the needs of diverse learners
*
Experience in assessment (desirable but not essential)
*
A learner-centred attitude and commitment to vocational training and employability
