Job Description

Employee Relations Advisor Duration: 4 Months (with potential extension) Start Date: ASAP Location: Croydon Healthcare Services Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday Pay Rate: £20.00 - 21.30 Are you an experienced Employee Relations professional with a passion for delivering high-quality support in a fast-paced, unionised environment? We are seeking a Band 6 Employee Relations Advisor to join our team at Croydon Healthcare Services on a 4-month assignment, starting as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities: Manage a complex sickness absence caseload, providing robust advice and support in line with policies and procedures. Coach and train managers in effective absence management strategies. Work collaboratively with colleagues, managers, and trade union representatives to achieve positive outcomes. Operate across both hospital and community settings, ensuring a consistent and professional service.Requirements: Proven experience managing complex sickness absence cases within a large, unionised organisation. Skilled in training and coaching managers on ER processes, particularly absence management. Comfortable managing a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work on-site at least 4 days per week (hospital and/or community locations).
