Employer Engagement Consultant Manchester Up to £35,000 per annum Full-time, Permanent The Role: We’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Employer Engagement Consultant to join an Employment Support team in Greater Manchester. You’ll work with employers across a range of sectors to create sustainable job opportunities for unemployed individuals. By building strong relationships and promoting inclusive recruitment, you’ll play a key part in helping people overcome barriers and move into meaningful, long-term work. Duties: Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify vacancies and employment opportunities. Promote the benefits of working with the programme through meetings, presentations and digital communication. Understand employers’ recruitment needs and tailor candidate matching and pre-screening to ensure the right fit. Collaborate with Employment Advisors to ensure participants have access to suitable vacancies and support. Provide guidance to employers on inclusive recruitment and retention practices. Organise and facilitate pre-screen sessions, job fairs and recruitment events. Achieve monthly targets and KPIs linked to job outcomes and employer engagement. Maintain accurate records of employer activity and outcomes on the management system.Required Skills: Experience in employer engagement, account management or business development. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with people at all levels. Knowledge of the local employment market and understanding of recruitment challenges. Ability to work towards performance targets in a fast-paced environment. Confident presenting and promoting services both in person and digitally. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Digitally confident, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
