Here at The Supply Register, and on behalf of Lewisham Collage, we're looking for an enthusiastic Employment and Skills Trainer to join our team and deliver high-quality employability programmes that prepare unemployed learners for sustainable employment. Working with employers and colleagues, you'll design engaging training that develops the skills, knowledge and behaviours employers value.

About the role
You'll design and deliver engaging employability training tailored to employer and learner needs, creating an inclusive learning environment where every learner can succeed.
Working closely with employers and curriculum colleagues, you'll support learners throughout their journey, assess progress, maintain high-quality standards and help shape programmes that respond to local labour market needs.
What you'll do
Deliver engaging employability training and workshops.
Develop high-quality learning resources, including digital materials.
Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback.
Support learners through induction, tutorials and progression planning.
Maintain accurate learner records and monitor progress.
Build positive relationships with employers and internal teams.
Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement and self-assessment.
Keep your knowledge of employability, industry practice and teaching up to date.
What we're looking for
You'll be passionate about helping people develop the skills and confidence to succeed in work. We're looking for someone who has:
A relevant vocational or professional qualification.
A recognised teaching or training qualification (minimum PTTLS or equivalent).
Experience delivering employability, vocational or work-based training.
Experience designing engaging learning resources, including digital materials.
Experience developing training that meets employer and business needs.
Good knowledge of using technology to support teaching and learning.
Strong communication, presentation and coaching skills.
The ability to motivate, inspire and build learners' confidence.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
A collaborative approach, with experience building positive relationships with employers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
A commitment to high-quality teaching, continuous improvement and your own professional development.
A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine commitment to helping learners achieve their goals.
