This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected Employment Law team based in Eton. Employment Solicitor — Position Overview: Manage your own varied employment law caseload Act for claimants in both litigated and non-litigated matters Handle settlement agreements and negotiate favourable outcomes Provide legal advice to union officers through the firm’s advice line Support Partners and Senior Solicitors on complex, high-value matters Maintain compliance with procedural and regulatory standards Manage financial aspects of files (WIP, disbursements, billing, and profitability) Deliver excellent client care and timely communication throughout each case Contribute to firm-wide business objectives and team growth Requirements of the Employment Solicitor: Qualified Solicitor with a valid, clean Practising Certificate NQ+ PQE in Employment Law (claimant experience preferred) Strong academic background and technical knowledge of employment litigation Excellent communication and client care skills Professional, empathetic, and solution-focused approach Strong organisation, time management, and problem-solving abilities Confident user of Microsoft Office and case management systems Commercial awareness and commitment to service excellence The Benefits for the Employment Solicitor role: Salary from £50,000+ (DOE) 20 days’ annual leave rising to 25 after probation Birthday leave — never work on your birthday Full paid Christmas closure (25 Dec – 1 Jan) in addition to annual leave Life insurance (2x salary) Health cash plan, 24/7 GP access & online health assessments Perks & discounts app (shopping, lifestyle, wellbeing) Gym discounts & digital fitness subscriptions Employee Assistance Programme with counselling & mental health support Paid professional memberships (APIL / CIPD / AVMA) SRA practising certificate fully funded Enhanced maternity & paternity pay (top-up to 100% for 3 months where eligible) Agile working policy — 1–2 days per week in the office for the right candidate Recognition for work anniversaries and achievements If you’re an Employment Solicitor ready to take the next step in your career, apply today.
