Enclosing Operator | Gatwick area | Mon - Fri shift | £30,000 - £35,000
Aim Search are partnered with an established Print & DM Agency who are recruiting for a Production Operative / Enclosing Operator to work in a busy production environment based in Crawley. As the Enclosing Operator, you will operate an enclosing machine to support the daily volume of work required to be dispatched on time and in full, meeting Client’s service level agreements.
About the Enclosing Operator role:
• Set and operate enclosing machine following work orders and Client specific instructions.
• Support the daily production volume in line with Client service level agreements and targets set.
• Manage all aspects of the machine enclosing process, ensuring stock is replenished in time and workload is planned effectively to maximise output.
• Adhere to company processes and checks in place – quality, enclosing & dispatch.
• Report any issues whether print quality, machine or stock to Management.
About the successful Mailing Operator:
• Proven previous Production/Machine Operative experience
• Previous experience operating CMC Envelope Inserters or similar machines - very beneficial but training provided
• Ideally mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Hours: Currently 6am-2pm, with plans to transition to shifts in the future (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm or 2pm-8pm).
• Salary: Approximately £30k - £35k depending on experience.
