Endoscopy Nurse – Ilford
Permanent | Full-Time | £35,300 + benefits + enhancements
We are proud to be supporting a leading private healthcare provider in Ilford with the recruitment of an experienced Endoscopy Nurse. The Role
As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will be part of a dedicated theatre and endoscopy team, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a modern, well-equipped unit. You will ensure the highest standards of infection prevention, patient safety, and care throughout the endoscopy journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
* Support patients pre-, peri-, and post-procedure, providing reassurance and education.
* Adhere to infection prevention and control standards, ensuring a safe clinical environment.
* Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment in line with JAG guidelines.
* Work collaboratively with consultants, anaesthetists, and fellow nurses to deliver high-quality care.
Candidate Requirements
* NMC Registered Nurse (RGN) with experience in Endoscopy.
* Knowledge of JAG standards and decontamination processes.
* Strong clinical and patient care skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Enthusiasm for ongoing training and development.
