Job Title: Energy Consultant (Utility Energy Sales)
Location: Leicester (remote position)
Salary: Up to £30,000 basic + uncapped commission
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Permanent
Start Date: Immediate start available (flexible for notice periods)
The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading energy consultancy that is looking for a motivated and commercially minded Energy Consultant to join their expanding team in Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven sales professional with experience in utility energy sales or outbound B2B business development.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business by making high-volume outbound sales calls to commercial clients.
Promote the advantages of reviewing and optimising utility energy contracts for electricity and gas.
Build and manage your own portfolio of business clients.
Develop strong client relationships to encourage long-term partnerships and repeat business.
Consistently exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.
Provide tailored, energy-efficient solutions to meet each client’s unique needs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who have:
A proven track record in utility energy sales or outbound B2B sales.
The ability to close deals while maintaining a customer-first approach.
Confidence, resilience, and a results-driven attitude.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
A proactive mindset and comfort with making high-volume outbound calls.
Industry experience is preferred but not essential—attitude and performance are key.
