Job Description
We are working with a leading engineering and main contractor with a strong international presence delivering across the high value engineering and mission critical sectors who are looking for an energy marshall to join their team to initially work on a hyperscale data centre they are delivering in Finland.
The Energy Marshall will be responsible for the oversight and control of all electrical energy systems during the construction of a hyperscale data centre. Acting as the central point of coordination for energy-related activities, the role ensures the safe and compliant management of electrical energisation, isolation, and commissioning processes in line with project and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and enforce lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures across the site.
• Coordinate all temporary and permanent electrical energisation activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Liaise with subcontractors, commissioning teams, and client representatives.
• Maintain accurate records of all energy-related activities and permits.
• Support incident investigations involving electrical systems.
Requirements:
• Electrical or engineering background with relevant qualifications.
• Experience in large-scale construction projects, preferably data centres.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and practices.
• Proven ability to manage high-risk energy environments.
