The Opportunity

You’ll be working side-by-side with our Operations Director, helping to lead business growth across our existing services and playing a key part in developing our newly acquired care company in Wigan.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with commissioners, case managers, independent brokers, and local authorities across the North West. All while supporting the OD with any day-to-day tasks and assignments that may be required.
- Bringing your own network to the table and knowing how to turn connections into opportunities.
- Spotting, shaping, and securing new business opportunities that align with our growth plans.
- Working closely with the leadership team to drive business development strategies and expansion plans.
- Getting hands-on, supporting the OD with everything from partnership pitches to strategic meetings to operational follow-ups. Really becoming a ‘Right Hand’.
- Playing a key role in building our newly acquired Wigan-based business, helping to grow its reputation, services, and market presence.
Who We Are Looking For
Experienced: You’ve held senior roles in business development or relationship management within health and social care.
Well-Connected: You already know the key players, commissioners, case managers, brokers, and, more importantly, they know you.
Exceptionally Organised: You’re meticulous when it comes to details, follow-ups, and documentation. Nothing slips through the cracks.
Tough & Resilient: You’re not afraid of rejection, tough conversations, or high-pressure situations; you see challenges as opportunities.
Hands-On: You’re not above rolling up your sleeves, supporting your team, and getting involved at every level.
Strategic & Creative: You think outside the box, love solving problems, and know how to turn bold ideas into action.
Tender Writing Savvy: You have experience crafting and submitting strong tenders that stand out and win business.
Collaborative: You thrive in a close-knit team environment and enjoy working alongside senior leadership to drive results.
Mobile & Flexible: You’re happy to travel across the North West for meetings, site visits, and networking (full UK driving licence required).
