Engine Technician
Wareham, Dorset
£38,000 – £42,000 + overtime, standby & bonus (up to £45,000+)
TRG are recruiting an Engine Technician to join a renewable energy business covering parts of Dorset from Wareham to Dorchester, working with large gas-powered engines and generation equipment.
The Role
*
Service, maintain and repair reciprocating engines and associated equipment
*
Diagnose faults and carry out commissioning work
*
Support the safe and efficient running of power stations
*
Manage stock, parts and ensure compliance on site
*
Take part in a regional on-call rota
What We’re Looking For
*
Experience with diesel, gas or petrol engines (HGV, marine, automotive or power generation)
*
NVQ/HNC in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent experience)
*
Strong fault-finding skills and flexibility for on-call duties
