We're excited to be recruiting exclusively, for this brand new position as an Engineer Coordinator for a reputable manufacturing company based in between Ashford and Hythe.

As an Engineer Coordinator, you'll be working as part of a friendly team of 4, who provide a proactive response to the varying and often demanding needs of their Customers.

Job Title: Engineer Coordinator 

Location: Near Ashford, Kent. This position is office based and your own transport is essential due to the location of the business.

Salary: £27,046 (£13.87 per hour)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm or 9am-5:30pm

Benefits: 22 days annual leave + Bank holidays, free parking, annual Salary reviews, Medicash after 1 year

As an Engineer Coordinator your key duties would be:

Scheduling and engaging both subcontractors and employed teams.
Assigning workloads and jobs to appropriate teams
Invoicing labour and closing down jobs, checking all relevant paperwork has been filled appropriately.
Ordering & off hiring plant, and authorising payment of the invoices
Setting the following week, i.e. phoning customers, sending job sheets etc
Organising training
Maintaining the training matrix and insurance database
Archiving and electronic filing
Problem solving - liaising with other departments to resolve site issues.
Raising paperwork for collections, additional materials etc.You'll be the perfect match for this position if you have:

Previous Office Administration experience
Experience working within a Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing company
An excellent telephone manner
The ability to contribute effectively to an enthusiastic team
Great attention to detail
Flexibility and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
