Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and versatile Engineer to join our team based out of Haywards Heath. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical, mechanical, and general building maintenance services across a variety of locations. This is a mobile position, giving you the opportunity to work across multiple sites and take on a range of exciting challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of electrical, mechanical, and building systems across multiple sites.
Respond to reactive maintenance requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
Carry out inspections and perform preventive maintenance to ensure systems are operating optimally.
Maintain high standards of safety and compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Build strong working relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure service satisfaction.
Ensure that work is completed to the highest standards and in line with company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken, including service reports, documentation, and compliance paperwork.
Be available for occasional weekend work or overtime as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with expertise in electrical, mechanical, or multi-disciplinary systems.
Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
Full driving license and flexibility to travel between various sites.
Relevant qualifications in building services, electrical, mechanical engineering, or facilities management (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ).
