Spire Elland Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join the team on a Full-Time basis.

Duties and responsibilities:
  * To work as part of the engineering team providing a comprehensive engineering and maintenance service within the hospital, which ensures a safe environment for all Patients, Visitors, Staff and Contractors.
  * The role will require repair, maintenance or installation of all plant, equipment, systems and building structure/fabric.
  * This will consist of Planned Preventative Maintenance, testing and calibration, fault finding, defect correction and supporting the emergency on call on a rota basis.
Role:
To undertake maintenance/testing/troubleshooting of plant/equipment, ensuring compliance with current HTM recommendations / PPM Schedules and manufactures instruction, including but not limited to.
  * Building and Minor Electrical Responsibilities
  * Water Responsibilities
  * Ventilation System Responsibilities
  * Decontamination Responsibilities
  * Medical Gas Responsibilities
  * General Duties
  * On Call Rota
Who we're looking for:
  * Served a recognised apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with C&G Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical field
  * Hold relevant certificates or be willing to undertake specialist training in specific areas
  * Significant experience in building services management with a track record of success
  * Extensive knowledge of building services
  * Able to prioritise demands against resources
  * Able to support hospital compliance with changing legislation
