Graduate & Senior Structural Engineer – Consultancy Practice
Location: Truro, Cornwall | Salary: £26,000 – £50,000 DOE | Full-Time, Permanent | 1 Day Remote Working
We are supporting a respected engineering consultancy based in Truro, working across Devon and Cornwall, to recruit a Graduate and Senior Structural Engineer. The company delivers a diverse range of projects across the residential and commercial sectors, from small-scale alterations to large, multi-million-pound schemes in stunning, often complex locations.
Whether you are a graduate engineer with UK consultancy exposure or an experienced Senior Structural Engineer seeking a leadership-focused position, this is an outstanding opportunity to grow within a supportive, technically excellent team.

Key Requirements – Senior Structural Engineer:
*
Degree qualified (BEng/MEng) in Structural or Civil Engineering
*
4–5+ years’ consultancy experience in the UK (essential)
*
Working towards or already Chartered with IStructE or ICE
*
Commercial awareness and leadership potential
*
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
*
Confident in design delivery, analysis, and structural detailing
*
Site visit readiness and full UK driving licence
Key Requirements – Graduate Structural Engineer:
*
Degree qualified (BEng/MEng) in Civil or Structural Engineering
*
Some UK consultancy exposure (placement or internship highly desirable)
*
Good communication skills and willingness to learn
*
Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals
*
Self-motivated, with a genuine interest in design and technical delivery
