Job Title: Engineer - V&V Events
Location: Crewe, 3 days onsite per week
Remuneration: Up to £33/hour
Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract (4 months) - Likely extensions

Responsibilities:
Event Coordination: Collaborate with the technical team to develop detailed event itineraries and drive plans that ensure vehicle readiness for dynamic and static validation events.
Vehicle Assessment: Lead vehicle assessments during events, driving pre-production vehicles and identifying customer-relevant concerns.
Problem Solving: utilise your expertise to address complex engineering challenges, capturing and reporting findings effectively.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside engineering, diagnostics, calibration, and quality teams to ensure seamless issue resolution and validation.
Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document test results, concern logs, and validation outcomes, maintaining clear communication across various levels of the organisation.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in system testing, validation, or verification engineering.
Full UK (or equivalent) driving licence; advanced driving qualifications (e.g., IAM, RoSPA) and track driving experience are desirable.
Familiarity with vehicle systems and data logging tools, including CAN analysis.
Safety or first-aid training for test environments is beneficial.
This role requires a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and influence peers will be key to your success.
