Job Overview
They are seeking an Engineering Administrator to join their proactive and skilled Engineering team. This role is ideal for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with administrative experience in an engineering, technical, or manufacturing environment. You will play a key part in supporting planning, data management, scheduling, and documentation tasks-while using your CAD skills to assist with basic technical drawings and updates.

Daily updating of planning and scheduling boards.
Managing CMMS data including inventory, component records, and stock takes.
Processing return-to-work forms, contact documentation, and holiday requests.
Maintaining department rotas and updating the Time Management System (TMS).
Handling general administration: emails, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and supplier communication.
Compiling weekly KPI reports and supporting engineering team training schedules.
Managing PPE stock, training matrices, and highlighting training needs.
Organising engineering documentation and filing systems.
Conducting daily process confirmation checks and escalating issues where standards are not met.
Maintaining high safety standards and supporting safety compliance.Requirements
Previous experience in an administrative role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
Confident user of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment.
Familiarity with CMMS or similar systems.
Previous involvement with training schedules, PPE management, or compliance tracking.
Understanding of basic engineering terminology.Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in CAD (desirable).
Awareness of engineering or maintenance operations is a plus.How to Apply:
