The Opportunity
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in one of the UK’s most complex engineering projects? As a Building Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring seamless delivery of engineering changes and site coordination within your designated area. This is an opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams—Design, Construction, and Installation—on a project that demands precision, collaboration, and innovation. You’ll gain exposure to large-scale engineering delivery, contribute to maintaining safety and compliance, and play a key role in shaping the success of a landmark infrastructure programme.
Your duties and responsibilities will be:
Coordinate engineers across technical teams and resolve multi-disciplinary interface issues.
Monitor performance using KPIs and provide accurate reporting for your area.
Ensure design and construction changes are delivered on time to meet project needs.
Attend readiness reviews for design packages released for construction.
Work closely with design, contractor, and construction teams to ensure quality technical responses and maintain programme integrity.
Report risks and facilitate resolution of issues, ensuring workload is manageable and progress is tracked.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Degree qualified or equivalent experience in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil preferred).
Experience delivering large multi-disciplined projects.
Excellent communication, influencing, and facilitation skills.
Strong technical knowledge and ability to work independently.
Understanding of CDM Regulations and contract management
Ability to identify improvements in processes and resolve low-complexity issues within your discipline.
It’s great if you also have the following
Knowledge of presentational techniques and experience in civil works design.
Familiarity with information management systems and reporting tools.
Experience in stakeholder engagement and risk management.

On-site coordination within a major infrastructure project environment, working closely with engineering and construction teams in a fast-paced, safety-critical setting.
