Job Description
Zenith People are working with our client who are looking to recruit an Engineering Draughtsperson on a permanent basis
Reporting directly into the Engineering Manager, the main purpose of the role will be to prepare manufacturing and customer submission drawings using CAD systems.
Main Responsibilities
* Prepare drawings from specification/engineering sketches via Solid works or AutoCAD software.
* Revises existing drawings.
* Performs mathematical calculations
* Prepare engineering change orders
* Prepares CNC programme data via Radan software.
* Prepare and/or revise engineering BOM/RPO via Navision software.
* Adheres to Company policy for Quality Assured service standards
* Adheres to company policy for Health & Safety standards
* Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
Skills/Competencies:
* IT Literate - Confident user in Microsoft Office
* Highly competent in the use of both AutoCAD and Solidworks preferred
* CNC programming with Radan experience preferred.
* Good attention to detail and able to work as part of a team and on their own.
Qualifications/Experience:
* Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Degree (HNC/HND) preferred
* Solidworks Qualification preferred
