Zenith People is proud to partner with a forward-thinking manufacturing client in their search for a talented Engineering Draughtsperson with expertise in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. This is a permanent opportunity to bring your technical skills to life in a dynamic, hands-on environment where innovation meets precision.
What You'll Be Doing
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you'll be at the heart of the design and production process — translating ideas into reality and shaping the future of manufacturing. This is more than just a desk job: you'll collaborate with both office and shop floor teams, gaining valuable insight into real-world production while driving continuous improvement.
Your mission:
* Create detailed manufacturing and customer submission drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
* Revise and update existing technical drawings with precision
* Perform essential engineering calculations to support design accuracy
* Manage engineering change orders and documentation
* Generate CNC programming data using Radan software
* Maintain and update BOM/RPO data via Navision
* Uphold quality and safety standards across all projects
* Take on additional tasks that support the engineering team and business goals
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who’s not just technically skilled, but also curious, collaborative, and eager to grow.
Skills & Competencies:
* Confident with Microsoft Office tools
* Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (essential)
* Experience with CNC programming using Radan (preferred)
* Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive team player
Qualifications & Experience:
* HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred)
* SolidWorks certification is a plus
