Engineering Lecturer (Full-Time)

Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Temporary until October 2025 (with the potential to be extended)
We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Engineering Lecturers to join our Post-16 team in Northampton. These are full-time temporary positions starting in September, initially until October, with the possibility of extension.
We have opportunities available in the following areas of specialism:
Mechanical Engineering
Machine Shop
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and assess engaging and high-quality teaching in your area of engineering specialism.
Equip learners with the technical knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours required for progression into further study, apprenticeships, or employment.
Contribute to curriculum planning and development, ensuring delivery meets awarding body requirements and industry standards.
Provide effective guidance, feedback and pastoral support to enable learners to achieve their goals.
Essential Requirements:
A recognised qualification in Engineering or a related discipline (minimum Level 3; degree desirable).
Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
Relevant industry experience in either Mechanical Engineering or Machine Shop practice.
Strong communication and organisational skills, with a commitment to supporting learner achievement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
