Job Description
Engineering Manager, Hertfordshire*
One of the country's most successful residential developers requires an experienced Engineering Manager to join their technical team based in Hertfordshire. This role will be office based and will cover projects across the northern home counties.
The role will involve the management and coordination of all engineering information, responsibilities include:
Support the Technical and Land Directors with the delivery of Technical and Engineering information
Manage and coordinate all required Engineering information for tender and construction purposes
Manage the appointment of external companies
Provide support and accurate technical information for all internal departments
Negotiating and obtaining S38, 104 & 278 Approvals and Agreements
Attend all requisite external and internal meetingsThis would best suit existing Engineering Managers already working for developers or contractors or alternatively experienced Engineers working for consultancies or practices on developer-led schemes.
Ideal candidates will be of a Civil Engineering background. They will be experienced with all technical aspects of house building, Civil Engineering and Building Regulations.
