Maintenance Manager – Saxlingham Head Office
Location: Saxlingham
Salary: Competitive + Benefits
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent (45hrs per week plus 1 in 5 Saturday mornings)
We’re seeking a Maintenance /Engineering Manager to take full ownership of our maintenance operations at our Saxlingham Head Office. This is a pivotal role focused on minimising downtime, maximising plant performance, and ensuring compliance across all engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the onsite maintenance team, including out-of-hours breakdown support.
* Implement and oversee a robust preventative maintenance programme using the MPulse system.
* Ensure full compliance with EHS procedures and DSEAR regulations.
* Deliver major engineering projects with control over a capital expenditure budget.
* Optimise team resources and skillsets to meet operational demands.
* Develop and execute proactive maintenance strategies to reduce reactive interventions.
* Drive root cause analysis and implement solutions to enhance plant reliability and reduce downtime.
* Create and manage training programmes and work schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
* Continuously improve plant performance through equipment modifications and strategic planning.

* Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across departments.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in engineering or maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Strong understanding of compliance standards including EHS and DSEAR.
* Experience managing capital projects and budgets.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
* Familiarity with maintenance management systems (MPulse or similar).
