Engineering Manager – Power - Inverness - Up to £90,000 DOE + Package
First Task Professional are currently working alongside a business who are anticipating an extremely busy 5-year period after recent successful tenders for frameworks in the power sector.
They are looking to build a team in the Scottish market permanently due to this success- this will include an Engineering Manager with a background in leading multidisciplinary teams on infrastructure projects.
What are they looking for?
* Support engineering activities during pre-contract and delivery stages
* Allocate resources for temporary works and engineering needs
* Manage customer relationships and satisfaction
* Maintain staff training, competency, and compliance records
* Implement health, safety, environment, and quality standards
* Manage relationships with consulting engineers and in-house teams
* Assist in securing design resources for future bids
* Drive innovation, improvement, and knowledge sharing
* Ensure compliance with CDM regulations
* Support tender reviews, presentations, and bid submissions
* Aid in contract mobilization and setup of HSEQ plans
* Conduct audits and produce compliance reports
* Share best practices across business units
* Support compliance with relevant legislation
* Represent the company in agreed industry forums
