We’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused Engineering Project Manager (PSV) to work directly with our clients and contractor network across the UK.
About the Role
In this dynamic, field-based position, you’ll travel to client depots where Excel Resourcing has placed engineers—ensuring service quality, resolving technical challenges, supporting ongoing projects, and building strong operational relationships.
You’ll work closely with our Operations Director and Managing Director, becoming a key part of our on-the-ground success and our reputation for service excellence in the PSV sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Visit client workshops to assess the quality of engineering work and promote high standards
* Build trust with engineering teams, depot managers, and senior stakeholders
* Coordinate and support project and campaign-based engineering work
* Act as a technical escalation point—offering solutions and guidance where needed
* Provide feedback to both contractors and clients to support improvement
* Ensure ongoing compliance with PSV standards and safety expectations
* Represent Excel Resourcing professionally on-site and act as our local voice
What You’ll Bring
* Strong engineering background in the bus or coach (PSV) sector
* Experience with technical quality, compliance, or field service delivery
* Ability to confidently engage with frontline teams and leadership alike
* Excellent organisation and communication skills
* Willingness to travel extensively and work flexibly to meet client needs
