ENGINEERING SALES ADMIN

Location: Littlehampton, West Sussex

Salary: £30,(Apply online only) - £40,(Apply online only) (Dependent on Experience)

Shift: Days (Mon-Fri, 08:00-16:00 - flexibility on start/finish times)

Job Role of the Engineering Sales Admin

This is an opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within high-spec engineering environments, supplying into sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace and Defence.

With a new Business Development Director joining the business, the Engineering Sales Admin will play a key role in supporting the commercial function and acting as a link between sales, engineering and production.

The Engineering Sales Admin will be responsible for supporting the full sales cycle from enquiry through to delivery, ensuring accuracy across quotations, technical documentation and order processing.

You will also act as a key point of contact for customers, managing enquiries, coordinating internally with engineering teams, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with customer expectations.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Engineering Sales Admin

Experience in a Sales / Sales Admin / Sales Support / Commercial Coordinator role
Must have worked within a technical or engineering environment
Essential Requirements of the Engineering Sales Admin

Experience preparing quotes, proposals and processing sales orders
Ability to liaise with customers on order status, delivery and specifications
Experience working alongside engineering or technical teams
Strong communication skills (internal and external stakeholders)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and track orders through to completion
Requirements of the Engineering Sales Admin

Experience managing CRM systems and maintaining customer records
Exposure to technical documentation, datasheets or tender responses
Understanding of order flow from enquiry through to delivery
Ability to support reporting, KPIs and sales data analysis
Experience working within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments
