Job Description
Cure Talent are excited to partner with a leading UK Medical Device Manufacturing Company in their search for an Engineering Stores Person to join their Production Support Engineering team.
As the new Engineering Stores Person, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the site engineering stores to support the smooth and efficient running of the facility. This role will involve managing stock systems, liaising with suppliers, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and driving best practices in stores management.
Responsibilities
*
Maintain and organise the site engineering stores to ensure smooth facility operations
*
Manage stock levels, carry out regular stock takes, and control stock via the site Maintenance Management System
*
Liaise with suppliers to introduce best practices, negotiate cost savings, and manage consignment stock
*
Ensure OEM recommended spares and minimum stock levels are available at all times
*
Manage COSHH items with relevant safety data sheets while ensuring full Health & Safety compliance
Key Requirements
*
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
*
Solid computer skills with the ability to manage stock systems
*
Previous experience in an Engineering Stores environment
*
Good understanding of engineering components and stock management practices
*
Positive, self-motivated approach with strong communication and relationship-building skills
