Engineering Supervisor (Electrical Background) - The Strand, Central London – 60k

As an Engineering Supervisor you will be responsible for a team of 8 engineers from various backgrounds (2 Fabric Technicians, 3 Electrical Engineers, 3 Mechanical/Plumbing Engineers)
You’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring top-tier service delivery across planned and reactive maintenance. Crucially, you’ll act as the client’s key point of contact, maintaining strong working relationships and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate your engineering team, ensuring high performance and accountability
* Oversee all maintenance tasks to ensure compliance, efficiency, and quality
* Liaise daily with on-site clients to manage expectations and provide clear updates
* Conduct site audits, manage documentation, and support continuous improvement
* Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and teamwork
What is required ?
Electrically qualified (e.g. 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Proven experience supervising engineering or FM teams
Strong leadership and man-management skills
Confident communicator, capable of daily client interaction
A proactive, hands-on leader with a track record of team development and service delivery
