Then please get in touch ! Kingston Barnes are recruiting for an Engineering Supervisor with an Electrical bias to join our Manufacturing client in the Avonmouth area!
You will be joining one of the leading suppliers of construction solutions products in the UK. Working for a very reputable and well organised establishment, this is a fantastic opportunity to take your career to the next level. This is a challenging role within an industrial, fast paced site.
**Responsibilities**
Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the upkeep and general reliability of the equipment. You will ensure that agreed reliability, AM/PM plans and strategies are effectively undertaken and delivered; to achieve this, you will be liaising with Production, Quality, Operations and Contractors.
A significant portion of your role will be ensuring PM tasks are completed safely and closed out to a high standard, on time as well as being a significant contributor to the regular shutdowns alongside the Maintenance Team Engineer and the Maintenance Operations Manager.
**Requirements**
* Electrical Engineering background is essential
* Supervisory experience
* Planned Maintenance background/shutdowns, SOPs
* Understanding of AM/PM's
* Root cause analysis exp
* Worked in a manufacturing environment, i.e. FMCG or industrial manufacturing or industrial manufacturing
* HND or HNC qualified desirable, Apprenticeship trained is essential
**Hours**
* Monday - Thursday (7 - 3:30 p.m. / 2:30 p.m. finish on a Friday)
* 1 in 6 call out rota
