Job Description
Night Shift Engineering Team Lead - 4 on/4 off (6pm-6am) | £55-60k
I'm recruiting a hands-on engineering leader for a major manufacturing site in March. Lead the night shift team, keep machinery running, troubleshoot breakdowns, and drive continuous improvement.
This business is investing heavily across the site, with future opportunities to progress for an existing Engineering Team Leader or Multi-skilled Engineer seeking career progression.
Commutable from: March, Peterborough, Whittlesey, Yaxley, Ely, Spalding, Bourne, Market Deeping.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, motivate, and coordinate the night engineering team.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain production equipment.
- Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
- Drive reliability improvements and ensure health & safety compliance.
- Maintain CMMS records and stock control.
You'll Have:
- Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ/HNC in Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering.
- Proven leadership/supervisory experience (beneficial).
- Strong mechanical & electrical fault-finding skills in manufacturing/food production.
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset.
