Job Description

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge?

Do you have experience within a food/FMCG manufacturing environment?

Do you have experience leading a team of engineers?

We are working with a family-founded FMCG business in Norfolk, who are looking for an Engineering Team Leader to join their team, supporting the engineering supervisor/manager in the delivery of a schedule of planned and reactive maintenance.

As as Engineering Team Leader duties include:

  * Inspecting facilities to plan maintenance, and work with the engineering supervisor to agree and schedule the works.

  * Allocating work to the engineering team, monitoring progress, and documenting completion/issues.

  * Hands on assistance with PPM and breakdowns, diagnosing faults and undertaking work as required.

  * Monitoring stock and equipment control.

  * Collaborating with the engineering supervisor on process improvements.

  * Supporting factory line setters and addressing any production line/machinery issues with them.

  * Assisting with 3rd party contractors during installations, repairs, and planned maintenance, ensuring safe work systems and site procedures are followed.

  * Participating with engineering project tasks and budgetary compliance.

The ideal Engineering Team Leader will:

  * Have experience in a similar role within a food/FMCG manufacturing environment

  * Be comfortable with both electrical and mechanical work

  * Want to be an integral team player, helping up and down the chain of command

  * Drive. The location is remote, free on-site parking available.

Hours

48 hours a week on an alternating shift pattern.

Week 1: Monday-Friday. 7am-5.10pm

Week 2: Tuesday-Friday. 8.50am-7pm and Saturday 7am-5.10pm
