Engineering Technical Lead – BIM & Digital Design
Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Technical Lead for BIM and Digital Design to drive innovation and lead their digital engineering strategy. You'll play a key role in transforming design processes, managing technical capabilities, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop digital design strategy (BIM, CAD, Information Management)
*
Manage digital collaboration across supply chains
*
Oversee licensing, software procurement, and IT collaboration
*
Influence and negotiate with internal/external stakeholders
*
Represent Southern Water at industry forums
*
Line-manage the Information Management team
*
Drive continuous improvement and digital innovation
About You:
*
Expert in BIM and digital design tools
*
Strong technical integration and stakeholder communication skills
*
Analytical, solution-focused, and collaborative
*
Proven leadership with a strategic mindset
Essential Qualifications:
*
MEng/BEng/BSc or HND/HNC in Engineering, Environmental Science, or similar
Desirable:
*
Degree in Computer Science
*
Chartered Engineer status
*
Utilities/Construction industry BIM experienceBefore You Apply
