Engineering Technician (Electrical Bias) – Rotating Shifts
Location: Tredegar
Pay Rate: £19.85/hour (£39,204.00 p/a) (Salary negotiable depending on experience)
Shifts: Rotating 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm, Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Temp to Perm Opportunity
Overtime: Available
We are currently recruiting Engineering Technicians for our client based in Tredegar, ideally with an electrical bias, supporting the ongoing maintenance and performance of critical production and packaging equipment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a stable role with the potential for permanent employment and opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out maintenance and servicing of all production-related equipment and materials.
Support production line set-ups and changeovers.
Diagnose and repair faults on manufacturing and packaging equipment.
Monitor performance of critical utilities and process equipment in a cGMP environment.
Perform or arrange necessary repairs, calibrations, adjustments, and preventative maintenance.
Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.
Liaise with relevant departments to plan and carry out scheduled maintenance or reactive repairs.What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Engineer – ideally with an electrical bias.
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably under GMP.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work rotating shifts and occasional overtime.
