Job Description
JOB – Engineering Technician
LOCATION – Basingstoke
TERM – Permanent
SALARY - £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
My client is a specialist supplier of Engineering equipment. They are looking for an experienced Engineering Technician to join their expanding team in the Basingstoke area on a permanent basis.
The Engineering Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
At least 3-5 years’ experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering role
Experienced with service/maintenance/fault-finding/repair/etc.
Ideally have some experience in Construction, Lifting or Fitting
It would also be beneficial to be LEEA trained
Proficient using MS Office
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Team player who is passionate about their work
Holds a full UK Driving Licence
The Engineering Technician role will involve:
Servicing and testing a range of varied equipment
Ensuring quality standards and regulations are met and maintained
Monitoring customer requirements and timescales
Working in a team to push for excellence
Workshop based, with infrequent travel to customer sites
