English or Maths Teacher
Fixed Term – September 2025 Start
Are you an enthusiastic and motivated educator with a passion for English or Maths? We are seeking a talented teacher to join a dynamic and high-performing team at a leading independent prep school. About the Role:
You will teach English and/or Maths to pupils predominantly in Years 5–8, helping to prepare them for 13+ examinations and scholarship applications. This fixed-term position is ideal for experienced teachers or exceptional ECTs, including strong primary practitioners with a subject specialism.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lessons in English and/or Maths

Prepare pupils for 13+ and scholarship examinations

Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development

Participate actively in school life, including extra-curricular activities

Maintain a positive, inclusive, and purposeful learning environment

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – suitable for ECTs

Strong subject knowledge in English or Maths
