SEN Teacher - English & Science (Year 5 to Sixth Form) | Immediate Start | Part-Time
Location: Small Heath
Hours:
Monday to Friday: 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10:00am - 2:00pm
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Part-Time, Ongoing
Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Academics is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established SEN Centre seeking a committed English and Science Teacher to join their supportive team immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by teaching English and Science to students ranging from Year 5 to Sixth Form, in a supportive and specialist setting. You will be delivering high-quality, tailored lessons to small groups, helping students achieve their academic goals and develop confidence in their learning.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English and Science.
Differentiate content to meet a range of learning needs and abilities.
Support students with various SEN including ASD, ADHD, and Challenging Behaviour.
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
Work closely with the centre's team to ensure a holistic approach to student development.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with SEN students (essential).
Strong subject knowledge in English and Science.
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching style.
