Smart Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and passionate English Specialist Teacher to join one of our fantastic secondary schools in the Teesside area. This is a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to deliver engaging and impactful English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Planning and delivering creative, high-quality English lessons that inspire and challenge students
Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4
Tracking and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback to help learners succeed
Encouraging a love of reading, writing, and communication
Creating a positive classroom environment that supports engagement and achievement
Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the school’s English curriculum and enrichment opportunities
Who We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS – essential
Degree in English or a related subject – essential
Minimum of 6 months’ UK classroom experience – essential
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A creative, engaging, and adaptable approach to teaching
A commitment to raising attainment and supporting all learners
Enhanced DBS (Child or Child & Adult Workforce), or willingness to apply
