About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of English to join our dynamic department in Burton-on-Trent. This full-time role, starting in January 2026, offers an exciting opportunity to teach English across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5. Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in English, ensuring a well-rounded approach to the curriculum.
Provide regular assessments, feedback, and support to students to aid their progress.
Contribute to the development of the English department and wider school initiatives.
Encourage and promote literacy and a love for reading both in and outside the classroom.

Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching English at secondary level.
A strong knowledge of English literature, language, and the curriculum.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
