Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of secondary schools across Cardiff to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher for full-time or part-time positions starting September 2025.
Whether you’re a newly qualified teacher (ECT/NQT) or an experienced educator, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils
Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Prepare pupils for GCSE English exams
Collaborate with the English department and contribute to whole-school development

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs welcome to apply
Strong subject knowledge and passion for English language and literature
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A commitment to student development and achievement
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time
