English Teacher – Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Cambridge
Start Date: Sept
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate.

Deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons that foster a love of literature and language
Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum, supporting strong outcomes for all pupils
Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive
Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, trips or enrichment activities
Work collaboratively with a supportive team of English specialists and whole-school staff
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
A commitment to raising standards and delivering outstanding teaching
The ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
Excellent communication and organisational skills
