Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
Participate in school events, meetings, and CPD opportunities
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote pupil wellbeingIdeal English Teacher:
Holds QTS and has experience teaching English at secondary level
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management
Is committed to raising achievement and supporting all learners
Works well as part of a team and contributes to whole-school initiatives
Has excellent communication and organisational skills as an English Teacher
