English Teacher - Cheshire West and Chester - Immediate Start
Up to £232.56 per day | Long-term role until Christmas | KS3 & KS4
Are you a passionate English Teacher looking for your next rewarding role in a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English specialist to join one of our thriving client schools in Cheshire West and Chester.
This full-time position is to start immediately and will continue until Christmas, teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 English. You'll be joining a welcoming and inclusive school community that prides itself on fostering respect, resilience, and high aspirations among its students. The school's ethos focuses on inspiring every learner to reach their full potential, both academically and personally, within a nurturing and ambitious learning environment.
The Role:
Delivering engaging and challenging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
Planning, marking, and assessing student progress in line with school policies
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes achievement
Working collaboratively with colleagues in the English department to share best practice
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Has experience teaching English Language and Literature at secondary level
Demonstrates strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge
Is passionate about inspiring young people and raising attainment in English

Location: Cheshire West and Chester
Start date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time, until Christmas (with potential to continue)
Pay rate: Up to £232.56 per day (dependent on experience)
