Part-Time English Teacher
Tuesday and Wednesday | £150 – £200 per day | Start ASAP
1:1 or small groups (max 3 pupils)

This role is about bringing English to life for children who’ve found mainstream education overwhelming. You’ll be teaching in a small learning hub that specialises in working at the child’s pace — not the timetable’s.

The Role
We’re looking for a part-time English Teacher to work two days a week — Tuesdays and Wednesdays — supporting pupils 1:1 or in groups of up to three.
You’ll have the time and freedom to do what great teachers do best: inspire, adapt, and connect.
You’ll:
* Plan and deliver creative, tailored English lessons that meet each student where they are.
* Focus on building confidence and engagement — not just grades.
* Adapt your approach for different needs, especially for children who struggle in mainstream settings.
* Create a calm, nurturing space where every child feels safe to try, fail, and try again.
You’ll need:
* GCSE teaching experience (essential).
* A genuine passion for helping children who’ve lost confidence in learning.
* The ability to bring patience, humour, and flexibility into every lesson.
