About the Role
Are you passionate about language, literature and supporting young people find their creative voice and learn to formulate opinions in original ways? We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative English Teacher to join an inclusive co-ed secondary academy in Wandsworth. Key Responsibilities
* Teach English Language & Literature across KS3 and KS4 in line with Edexcel specification
* Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire ambition and curiosity.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constrictive feedback and interventions.
* Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Person Specification
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Specialism in English Language & Literature (or closely related subject).
* Proven experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred).
* Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
* Reflective, proactive, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
