Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for your next role teaching in a school located in Havering?

Position: English Teacher - Maternity Cover (KS3 & KS4)
 Location: London
 Contract: Maternity Cover - Minimum 1 Year (Starting January)
 Salary: London MPS/UPS

As a Secondary English Teacher on maternity cover for this Client, you will:

Plan and deliver creative, engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
Deliver high-quality teaching that supports literacy, critical thinking and analytical skills
Use varied teaching strategies to meet the needs of students of all abilities
Contribute positively to the school's English department and wider community 

Person Specification & Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualification
Experience teaching English at KS3 & KS4
Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
Effective planning, marking, and differentiation skills
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Overseas police checks if required
Professional references covering the last 10 years where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
